Title: Got unexpected answer from licence server
Post by: edwald on August 21, 2016, 12:25:01 PM
Hello,

Tonight at 2:53 the bot has stopped working. The terminal gave this error:
QuoteGot unexpected answer from licence server: <br/ > - Please contact info@stefan1200.de to get assist.

I tried to enter the forum but this also gave an error:
QuoteConnection Problems
Sorry, SMF was unable to connect to the database. This may be caused by the server being busy. Please try again later.

Waiting for your reply about

Best regards

My hoster had some major issues, that's why all services (including database, ftp and email) was offline. But it seems that they are fixed now.

Yes, anyway the bot is back to normal operation, the license is considered valid.

Why do not you put the license database in other database external to the forum?

Yes, the licence system needs a functional database, and that was one affected service.  :(

That would not work, because the licence is bound to your forum account.
