Introduction:
JOne is a card game which remembers to some other well known card games.
Similar game rules are also found in the card game called "Mau Mau".
JOne allows multiplayer games over LAN and / or Internet with up to 10 players.
Of course while playing you can chat with other players on the same server.

If you want to save your nickname and other settings, simple click on save in the preferences menu.


Cardthemes installation:
Cardthemes are simple image files, which contains all card images.
Place this image files in the directory JOne/Graphics/cards.
Next time you start JOne, you can select this theme in the preferences menu.


System requirements:
Every system with an installed Java Runtime Environment at least version 1.4.
Java RE sources:
Windows, Linux and Solaris		http://java.sun.com
Windows (Easy installation)		http://www.java.com
MacOS X							http://www.apple.de (Should be installed already)
To check which Java Runtime Environment version is installed, type into your console or terminal "java -version".


More informations:
If you want to use a server behind any router or firewall,
you should open and/or forward port 5866 to your computer.
For a list of chat commands you can type "/help" and press enter.
In the server browser are all JOne servers listed, which have the masterserver list activated.

Server configuration:
Start the JOneServer for the first time and change any settings.
This would create a new file called JOneServer.ini. Open this file and read the english help
at the top of the file.

Keyboard shortcuts:
F5				If you are on turn, draw a card. In the server browser window it reloads the server list.
Strg + S		Open or close the Scoreboard window.
Strg + L		Open or close the game move log window.
Strg + N		Toggle ready state for a new game round.
Cursor Hoch		Shows the last input from the chat (cursor has to be active in the textinputfield).
Cursor Runter	Shows the next input from the chat (cursor has to be active in the textinputfield).
Strg + Space	Nicknamen completer, use it after the first chars of a nickname was entered.
				(cursor has to be active in the textinputfield)

Keyboard shortcuts at the "Choose Colour" window:
Alt + R			Red Colour
Alt + B			Blue Colour
Alt + Y			Yellow Colour
Alt + G			Green Colour


Start arguments for the server:
/text   Activates the text mode without gui. So it runs without X Server on Linux.
/min    Starts the server minimized, nice for autostart.

ToDo (planned features):
- New game rule: Cheat with cards, that means you can play all cards, even wrong cards. But other players can punish you for this.
